Gutter cleaning that protects the rest of the house.
A clogged gutter ruins fascia, soffit, siding, and eventually the foundation. We hand-clear every run, bag the debris off site, flush every downspout to verify flow, and flag what we see — sagging sections, rust, leaking seams, fascia rot. Most homes go from 'next rain is going to be a problem' to 'handled' in a morning.
What's included in this service?
- Hand-remove all leaves, twigs, and compacted debris
- Bag everything off site (no piles left in your yard)
- Flush every downspout with a hose to verify free flow
- Snake or pressure-clear any blocked downspout
- Inspect fascia and soffit for water damage (we flag, not fix)
- Inspect gutter hangers for sag or separation
- Check seams for leaks and note which need resealing
- Remove debris from roof valleys adjacent to gutters
When do you need this service?
- Water overflows the front gutter and pounds the front door step
- Water stains are appearing on the fascia or siding below the gutter
- Downspouts are dry during rain while the gutter is full
- It's been 12+ months and there are trees near the house
- Wildfire season is approaching — dry leaves in gutters are fuel
- Post-Santa Ana wind event dropped a huge debris load
- Seasonal — late fall after leaf drop, mid-winter between storms
What do homeowners ask about Gutters?
How often should gutters be cleaned in San Diego?
San Diego doesn't have the deciduous leaf problem the northeast does, but jacaranda, eucalyptus, pine, and palm all drop heavily and can clog a gutter in weeks. Twice a year works for most homes: once in late fall and once before spring. Homes under eucalyptus or pine canopy benefit from quarterly.
Do you clean two-story and three-story homes?
Yes. We have ladders rated for three-story work and appropriate safety gear for both. Two-story pricing starts around $220; three-story and steep-pitch two-story are quoted on site. If we can't safely reach a section, we tell you before we start so you can plan.
Do you install gutter guards?
We don't install gutter guards. Well-installed mesh guards can cut cleaning frequency in half, but they're not maintenance-free and the wrong product on the wrong roof creates bigger problems than it solves. We'll recommend a gutter installer we trust and clean the guards you have.
Will you haul away the debris?
Yes. All debris leaves with us. Some homes want the material dumped in a compost bin or green-waste can on site — we'll do that if you ask. Default is we bag it and take it.
What if you find damage — do you fix it?
We're not a gutter installer. We inspect and report what we see: sagging sections, separated joints, leaking end caps, rotted fascia. For major repair work we refer you to a local gutter company. For small issues (a resealable seam, a loose hanger) we'll sometimes fix on the spot for a small added charge.

Homeowners who hired us for this
Quarterly plan since last summer. Same tech every visit, knows our house, texts before he comes. Windows always perfect, and honestly the screens and tracks are the real difference — other companies skip those.
We had years of sprinkler spots on the south side of the house. Two other companies said they could not remove them. Shine Pro brought specific chemistry, polished them out in an afternoon, and showed me which sprinkler head was the culprit. Glass looks new.
Our production app was showing below last year. Had them clean the panels plus our windows in the same visit. Production bounced back within a week. Bundled price was better than getting the two services separately.
