We carry the right scrapers, the right solvents, and the patience to take it slow on tempered glass so we don't scratch anything worth more than the paint we're removing.

What do homeowners ask about Post-Construction?
Isn't this just regular window cleaning?
Not even close. A standard window cleaning is wet-wipe plus squeegee. Post-construction requires blade work, solvent work, and 5–10x the time per window. We charge accordingly — but the alternative is a regular cleaner either refuses, does a bad job, or scratches your new glass.
Can scrapers scratch tempered glass?
Yes, which is why this service exists as a separate line item. Tempered glass has microscopic fabrication debris on the surface that looks invisible until a scraper drags across it and turns it into a long scratch. We use specific techniques — proper angle, right blade, water as lubricant, one direction only — that avoid this. Ask the 'regular' cleaner if they carry a scratch-repair kit before they touch your new glass.
Do you remove silicone and caulk smears?
Yes. Fresh silicone comes off with the right solvent; cured silicone requires scraping plus solvent. We remove what we can without damaging the coating or frame.
Do you work for general contractors?
Yes. We run post-construction for multiple San Diego GCs on residential new builds, remodels, and custom home projects. We invoice to the GC, coordinate scheduling with the punch-list phase, and provide a COI on request.
What about new construction that still has the factory film on the glass?
The plastic film that ships with new windows should be removed within 60–90 days of installation. Past that window (especially in San Diego sun), the adhesive bakes on and becomes much harder to remove. If you're past the manufacturer's removal window, we have the solvents to handle it — takes longer but still comes off.
